A big Thank You to the Coop Local Community Fund for over £6,000 which was raised in spring 2017 with the support and votes of local Coop customers in the East Reading,  Earley and Charvil areas. Among other things this money will be used for:

• the extension of our electricity supply from the pavilion to the greenhouse and polytunnel
• heated propagators for raising new plants early in the season
• new cold frame for protecting young plants in the colder weather
• two  motor mowers to replace those that were stolen last winter
• improvements in security at the garden
• a Hardship Fund to support our gardeners
