The Ridgeline Trust was set up in 2003 by local residents in a disused paddock made available by Reading Borough Council. The land was transformed into the beautiful garden we have today through the hard work of volunteers who cleared and landscaped the site.
Currently the charity is open two days a week, with capacity to support up to 30 individuals per week in three horticultural therapy sessions, guided by two Horticultural Therapists and assisted by around 20 regular volunteers. We also run weekly sessions for Addington School students. We also hold twice-yearly open events attended by 250+ local residents!
We would like to thank Berkshire Community Foundation, Mars GoodnessKNOWS Programme and the Edward Gostling Foundation for their generous funding during 2019.
We are proud to have been awarded Gold in Britain in Bloom.
