It might be winter, but there’s plenty of colour and activity at Ridgeline

Winter is the time of year when gardens can look sorry for themselves, but we’ve still had plenty to see and do around the garden.

The dogwood is looking beautiful, especially in the sunshine.  Our gardeners from Addington School have taken cuttings and propogated them ready for the spring.  The wallflowers have made the most of the mild spells and are brightening up the raised beds.

Our Monday team did a great job making bird feeders – although a few birds took advantage of them, the squirrels were the ones who made the most of them!  The goat willow may be bare of leaves, but the branches make great patterns against a clear blue sky.

And the snow came – and went – and looks like it may come back again …
