BBC Two’s Trust Me, I’m a Doctor has investigated whether time in nature can improve health – and the results confirmed what we already know at Ridgeline. Being outside in nature – whether it’s the countryside, the local park or gardening – for just two hours a week can give an overall reduction in perceived stress, and an overall increase in wellbeing.
And we see this every day at Ridgeline – people benefitting from being outside in our beautiful garden, enjoying gardening together. And it’s good to know the BBC agrees with us!
Ridgeline has grown to its current level of
success thanks to our many
generous supporters, but we always need more
help. Just £10 would pay for horticulture supplies for a group therapy session.
