Why we do what we do
We know that what we do at Ridgeline makes a real difference to people’s lives, and it’s always lovely when we get feedback from people. Last week, a client’s daughter told us :-
“The routine of going every week has been very good at embedding it in her memory and she remembers her involvement now. She often speaks of it and says how much working there makes her feel part of the community… Very many thanks for all you do to make Mum’s latter years so rich.”
And today, after a walk around the university lake spotting birds and trees, and enjoying festive food in the warm and dry of the pavilion, some of our clients and volunteers were determined to get out gardening, and managed to uproot a stubborn tree. The smile – and mud – on their faces was a clear sign of job satisfaction!
