Symantec volunteers visit Ridgeline
We would like to send a sincere thanks to the team of corporate volunteers from Symantec, an I.T firm with a local office to the garden; and to Business in the Community who arranged the visit. The group have done some useful work, principally extending the bed between the goat willow and the plum trees and using the turf to lay a new grass path by the compost area.
A cheque for matched funding of $420 has also been received from their US head office, and it was agreed this (roughly £270) would be allocated to the cost of new compost and shrubs to be placed in the news area and elsewhere, plus the cost of the new season’s seeds.
