Exciting new project with local school
This month, we are welcoming a group of sixth formers from Addington School to our garden. Addington School is a local school for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in nearby Woodley. The students will be attending weekly horticultural therapy sessions and will be nurturing seeds into plants, seeing garden waste turn into rich compost and enjoying the peace and tranquility of our beautiful garden.
“Ridgeline is such a wonderful local resource, and it’s great that Addington students are starting sessions with us,” said Siân Hooley, Development Manager. “Horticultural therapy can improve mental and physical health, and we’re looking forward to the students benefitting from coming here.”
If you would like to know more about our horticultural therapy sessions and how they can benefit local students and others facing health issues, please get in touch.
