Generous grant and hard work boost pond redevelopment
We are redeveloping part of the Ridgeline garden. This includes rebuilding our pond, adding a bog garden, creating a wildlife area and adding more raised beds. Thanks to a generous grant from the Edward Gostling Foundation, we are now able to pay for the materials.
The recent warm weather has helped us make great progress. Up until last week, we had a big muddy hole, now it’s taking shape as a pond. Clients and volunteers have been hard at work shaping and strengthening the pond and moving topsoil ready for the wildlife garden area. Next week, the turf arrives …
