Did you know, World Soil Day (WSD) is held annually on 5th December to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil. It’s organised by the United Nations, and encourages us all to look after our soil to help maintain healthy ecosystems and human well-being.
Here at Ridgeline, we do our best to play our part. We turn nearly all of the waste that comes from the garden back into lovely rich compost to help fertilise everything that we grow. And when I say “we”, of course we rely on worms all the way down to micro-organisms to do the hard work for us.
